- What is Jan’s Deals?
- Jan’s Deals allows consumers to find deals and discounts posted by local businesses in our well-organized Deals Directory. You will get free leads to great local Deals. Read more about Jan’s Deals on the About Us page.
- What are the benefits to signing up?
- Any visitor can sign up for a free account. When you sign up, you create a username and a password that you can use to log in. After you log in, go to your profile and fill in your zip code so we can show you only relevant Deals based on your location.
You can also subscribe to your favorite Deals categories so you can get e-mail or RSS notifications when new Deals are posted. We don’t want you to miss a great one!

- Why have I not received a "Verification Email"?
- If you have not received your "Verification Email", first check any "Bulk" or "Junk" email folders in your mailbox to see if the email from Jan’s Deals didn’t end up in there. If you still can't find the email, Contact us.
- How can I contact the poster of a Deal?
- Use the contact details in the Store Details area that shows along with the Deal.
- How do I report a bug I've encountered on the site?
- If you encounter a bug when using Jan’s Deals, please Contact us and tell us:
- The web page address where the bug occurred.
- What you were trying to do when the bug occurred.
- What web browser, operating system, and Internet service provider you use.
- What should I do if I see a Deal that I think is spam, offensive, miscategorised or illegal?
- If you see a Deal which you think is illegal, prohibited or otherwise a bad fit for the Jan’s Deals site, please Contact us.

- What can Jan’s Deals do for my business?
- Jan’s Deals allows local businesses to post deals and discounts so local consumers can find them in our well-organized Deals Directory. The businesses get more interested consumers, and the consumers get free leads to the deals you post. Read more about Jan’s Deals on the About Us page.
- What do I get for signing up?
- Receive an account that includes:
– 1 year of business account access
– 1 Deal with unlimited editing
– 2 business locations
– 2 business uses
– Your Deal can be placed in 3 categories at a time
- Do I have to sign up to post a Deal?
- Yes. If you own a business and want to place a Deal with us, first sign up for a free account, then log in with your username and password. When you click on Post a Deal, you will be prompted to upgrade to a Business Account.
- How do I post a Deal?
- It is very easy to post a Deal with Jan’s Deals. First, log in with your username and password.
Then, click on the Post a Deal button from either the menu or your account submenu.
The form will guide you step by step with posting a Deal.

- How do I suggest a new category?
- If you have any suggestions of new categories that you think could improve our site, we will be very happy to hear from you. Please Contact us with your ideas.
- How many Deals can I post?
- When you first sign up for a Business Account, you are allowed to post 2 deals at a time. When one of your Deals expires, you can delete it and make room for a new Deal. If you’d like to post more than two Deals at a time, Contact us and we will upgrade your Deals quota.
- How do I modify or delete my Deal?
- Log into your account and go to My Deals. It is easy to edit, delete or preview your existing Deals.
- How long does a Deal last on the site?
- A Deal is listed in the Deals Directory until the last day of its expiration date. If you want to remove your Deal from the Directory, you need to delete it. Go to My Deals to delete a Deal or to change the expiration date.
- How can I increase the chance of getting a good response to my Deal?
- To increase the chance of getting a good response, follow these simple tips:
Use a catchy title that follows our title guidelines (read the text in the yellow box when you post a new Deal or edit an existing one).
In your Deal’s title and description, give relevant details. For example, when selling a product, include its brand, model number, condition, and features.
Make it easy for consumers to access the object or service you provide; let them know where the business is located and what the operating hours are.
Tell your friends about Jan’s Deals. The more people use Jan’s Deals, the more responses you’ll get!
